nyhet: Nu är sommaren äntligen här.
Men vi vilar inte upp oss för det. Visst blir det lite ledighet för några av oss.
Vi avhåller oss från spelningar denna sommar för att kunna jobba helhjärtat vidare med plattan.
Målet är att släppa en singel till hösten.
Mycket är gjort men en hel del kvarstår, såsom de sista inspelningarna, mixning och all byråkrati som kommer med detta. Skivomslaget och en videon till singeln är under planering.
En sak är säker och det är att väntan inte kommer att vara förgäves.

Nu har vi en Ny gästbok "NEW GUESTBOOK" där ni förutom att skriva ett meddelande även kan lägga till en bild och smilie. :)
Den gamla gästboken är tyvärr ett problem för många, särskild för MAC användare och engelskspråkiga.
Dessa får ett SYNTAX ERROR meddelande om att den inte accepterar texten.
Därmed har många inte kunnat få igenom sina gästboksinlägg.
Vi har alltså löst detta genom att öppna en helt ny och förbättrad gästbok. "NEW GUESTBOOK"
PS.Även den "gamla" gästboken kommer att vara kvar och tillgänglig för meddelanden. DS.

nyhet: Lördagen den 12 mars kommer låten "Ödet Styr Dig Rakt Mot Stjärnorna" av våra låtknåpare Cecilia Brändström/Caroline Bränngård att tävla i riksfinalen av talangtävlingen "Schlagerstjärna 2005" i Globen City.
Denna gång gäller det äkta schlager för hela slanten.
Nytt för i år är att "Schlagerstjärna 2005" är en talangtävling där artisterna sjunger nyskrivnalåtar som kvalat in.
Denna tävling vanns 2003 av vår egen Vivien Searcy med sin och Andreas Rydmans låt "Guitarman". (se nedan på denna sida)
Tävlingen hålls i samarbete med Mariann Records, Expresssen och Lingman & Co
Låten "Ödet Styr Dig Rakt Mot Stjärnorna" är en samproduktion mellan Patricia Viguurs från Ragdoll Production och Patrik Pistol från Dreamland Communication Music. Även Vivien Searcy och Andreas Rydman är med i produktionen då Vivien sjunger körstämmorna och Andreas spelar gitarrslingorna på låten. Yeehaw :)
Låten "Ödet Styr Dig Rakt Mot Stjärnorna" kommer att framföras i finalen av Stina Eriksson som vann deltävlingen i Göteborg den 12 februari.
14 nyskrivna låtar och artister kommer att tävla om första pris.

Our own Charlie Centervall unfortunately couldn´t make it to Vemdalen but we are pleased that another Charlie wanted to come along to do the Vemdalen gig with us.
She realy did a great job singing harmonyvocals and playing the acoustics.

nyhet: Unfortunately the Holland tour is gonna be delayed for a while but we get back as soon as we know more.
We got some good response from Russia, Belgium and France and hope to be able to tour there in the near future.
Now we are going to record more material for the commercial album.
Next performance of Vivien & The Ozarks will be at the Country Gala at Tyrol, Gröna Lund in Stockholm. October 25Th. This is a big annual country event with lots of great country artists.

nyhet: Vivien won the National Contest "Schlagerstjärna 2003" at March 15 in the Globe Arena shopping centre that was held in combination with the Swedisch Song Contest 2003. Vivien sang her country song "Guitar Man" and won over 230 (!!) pop and schlager acts from all over Sweden.
The jury consisted of Bert Karlsson (Fame Factory & Mariann Records), Annika Ljungberg (Rednex), Andres Estache and all the people at the shopping centre.
Vivien was praised for her fantastic voice, her scene appearance, her genuine star quality and for her song "Guitar Man".
She won a trip to Riga incl. 2 hotel nights and flight during May 23-25th to be present at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003.
Vivien will travel with Andreas Rydman with whom she co-wrote " Guitar Man".
Bert Karlsson himself also became very interested in Vivien and her music!

nyhet: Vivien Searcy and the Ozarks are asked to Tour through Holland, Belgium and Germany by a Dutch booker.
Vivien and her band are also gonna appear on several Dutch National and Local Radio & TV stations for interviews and live performances.
Also Patricia is gonna be an "interview target" for the Dutch media, as they want to find out more about this Dutch girl that moved to Sweden and started producing and recording country music.....!

nyhet: At the 18th of february we started with the recordings of Vivien Searcy´s commercial CD at Steam Engine Studios in Norrköping (Sweden) We recorded bass, drums and the main guitartracks on 4 songs during this first 2 day-studio-session.

During Easter holidays (april 18-21th) we recorded more bass, drums and guitar tracks on 8 new songs in the studio.
Although the sun was shining outside, we were inside all night and day recording country music.
I guess we´ll just have to wait a while for that pretty sun tan.

nyhet: Vivien, Andreas, Jonas, Henke, Michael, Ove, Martin and Patricia (that´s me),
are right now working in the studio "Record-In" at Heron City/Stockholm.
The recordings will be used for a promotion demo.
The songs:

-Another Rainy Day (Cecilia Brändström/Caroline Bränngård)
-Cool Me Down (Kieran Kane)
